Acne Vulgaris Causes

First and foremost hormones are the major reason of the occurrence of acne. If there is an imbalance in the ratio of hormones, then that is a definite sign of acne. Hormonal imbalance is usual during the adolescent age but it changes over time. So hormonal testing should be done. Generally food habits have an impact on the cause of acne. People with oily skin should avoid oily foods (although it is a myth that they are a cause of acne) as they help in aggravating the condition. Then the next important factor that has to be noted is the usage of cosmetics. Using branded cosmetics is not a problem, but cheap cosmetics are really dangerous as they worsen the situation further. Another major factor that induces acne is stress. Due to stress, acne causing hormones are produced more thus leading in hormonal imbalance.

Acne Vulgaris Symptoms

Some of the symptoms of acne vulgaris are constant acne, redness, swelling of the skin which is also called buttons. Other symptoms are spots, with pores open in some places and the presence of bulky items under the skin which can be felt by a touch. These areas will itch all time until the puss comes out. These bulky items are called lumps under the skin. One can easily identify the onset of acne by the mere start of the itch on the skin. Inflamed fluid lumps that are found under the skin are also a symptom of acne. If there is a symptom of acne then those people will suffer from white heads, black heads, lumps, milia, blocked pores and closed comedones. Analyzing symptoms and causes and taking preventive measures can possibly help to get rid of acne.
